NAMIEX CHEMICALS PRIVATE LIMITED

Namiex chemicals was incorporated in 1974 as NAYAR MINERAL EXPORTS. Initially the company started with manufacture of DIOSGENIN and was supplying to multinationals like CIBA-GEIGY, WYETH LAB, INFAR (ORGANON) etc. The production facility of the company is ideally located in the lap of Shivalik hills to tap the Himalayan based raw material.

Then METHOXSALEN a new product was introduced and gradually more natural products were introduced. The company was seeking technical guidance from Central Scientific & Industrial Research Council (C.S.I.R).

The present management took over the company few years back and renamed it NAMIEX CHEMICALS. Now the company is specifically working on extraction, isolation and purification of therapeutic phytochemical. A number of new products like SILYMARIN, BERGAMOTTIN  etc. are being worked upon. A newly developed product like BERGAPTEN have been introduced.

NAMIEX CHEMICALS is a small scale industrial unit and has adequate facilities for most of the quality control requirements and some tests are done in outside laboratories. Namiex is registered with the drug licensing authorities and has license for manufacture of drugs covered under Indian Drugs & Cosmetics Act. Around 25 persons are employed regularly and same number are employed on requirement basis. For collection of herbal raw material equal number of persons are employed. Herbal extraction facility of 5 TPD is installed and can be easily enhanced if need be as lot of free land belonging to the company is available.

For last few years company has been mainly exporting it's products to different countries like U.K., Germany, Austria, U.S.A & Japan and maintaining a strict quality control.
